Application Processing Students:

Here are some Questions for all of you.

1. Hilariously self-justifying Recommendations? 
2. Perfectly produced Financial Aid Form?
3. Beautifully written Common-app essay that enumerate your "Grand Experiences"?
4. Hot-pursuit of your Dream-College?
5. Knowing the people who have gone to Big Branded places?

If your answers to all these questions are 'Yes' - then you have an IQ at a stellar level [compared to extra-terrestrials who do not apply to US colleges.]

IF - on the other hand you have TOUGH time because of the following reason - you may suffer from 'unattended child syndrome', which is an indication of the presence of all the numbered symptoms above.

The Reason: The whole project is being treated as an game!

Let me find out who is NOT playing a Rational game [but an Irrational one] - I will go after her (him). This is the phase that students often have heard of - now a permanent feature of Anglophiles Project.

This is to announce that Samira Manzur's ED has been accepted.

SAT I: 2030 (verbal-600, math-770 and writing-660)

I do not think that you SAT-I score is too low. So, we can skip it.

For Your Eyes Only

I shall be present in my Den from 8.00 am to 4.00 tomorrow. Everyone is requested to attend with laptops. Only Protik will be unable to attend.

1. Durdana and Prianka shall bring a few of their artworks. I also need to see at at least 1 Supp Essay and 1 Common Essay from both of them.
2. Lamia shall send me a list of items pending - by mail today. What about the 150 significant ECA experience.
3. Mehruba shall try to finish off her PS by tonight. She also sends me a longer version of her reading of Rohinton Mistry.
4. Akila MIST send me 2 nos of Common App essay by tonight. Akila should also try a few ideas about the 150 significant ECA experience.
5. Sadia MUST send me 2 nos of Common App essay by tonight.
6. Aaqib - Common AaaaaaaaaaaaaaPPPPP - Emergency!!!
7. Sarah - MUST - MUST - spend the whole day with me.
8. Asif - send me your working list by today 3 pm - so that I  can plan my work with you tomorrow.
9. Sukanya - Please send me your working plan for tomorrow - your suspension period is over.

TOEFL Exam - To be or not to be

Any Critical Reading score above 650 ensues that TOEFL exemption shall be accepted.

Important Notice about International Public-Speaking Competition

All Anglophiles Students and any other student who fall between 16 and 21 are invited to join the orientation session for the ESU International Public Speaking Competition to be held in the following venue and time.

Venue:                    Democracywatch, 7 Circuit House Road, Ramna, Dhaka-1000.
Date & Time:              29th January, Saturday at 10 am Sharp. 


The session shall end before 12 pm.


You can bring any number of students, teachers and parents in this briefing session.


Your participation can open a new beginning for you.


The International Public-Speaking Competition (IPSC) shall take place in London this year from 23-27 May 2011. 


Last year I prepared 2 students (both from Bengali Medium background) and they went to UK for 10 days.


Your visit will be fully sponsored by ESU and other local sponsors.

Fin Aid Papers TODAY

I am going to finalize some of the Financial Aid Papers today.

I have already started finalizing the 150 and Common Apps. Some of our candidates are preparing to send at least 2 or 3 packs by tomorrow evening.

Finalizing Papers

I now have a large number of items sent by all the students. I am finalizing essays one by one. Those who are working round the clock and yet maintained your composure and did not lose your head are SURE to benifit from this experience. This is also to confide that not EVERYONE stayed sane - which is definitely is a sad case for all of us.

I hope everything else shall go the way we had been planning all these months.
